Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we hear most. If you don't see yours, contact us.
What kinds of IPs does PureIP offer?
Three core IP products: residential proxies (genuine consumer ISP IPs), SOCKS5 proxies (authenticated sessions over residential and mobile IPs), and base-station IPs (carrier 4G/5G). We also offer SIP trunking, international SMS, and virtual numbers as complementary services.
What's the difference between residential and base-station IPs?
Residential IPs come from consumer ISP ranges; base-station (mobile) IPs come from carrier 4G/5G networks. Base-station IPs are often preferred for the highest-trust, mobile-native scenarios.
Do you offer static or rotating proxy IPs?
Both. You can hold static or sticky sessions for stable work, or rotate across pools by city, state, or carrier.
What is SIP trunking, and do I need a PBX?
SIP trunking connects your existing phone system (PBX or softphone) to the public telephone network over the internet. If you have a compatible PBX, you can be live in minutes; if you don’t, our team can recommend a softphone setup.
Do you support A2P 10DLC registration for US SMS?
Yes. We guide you through US A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration so your messaging stays compliant and your throughput stays high.
Can I switch between English, Chinese, and Spanish support?
Yes. Our support and documentation are available in English, Chinese, and Spanish.
What's the minimum commitment?
There's no long-term contract. Pricing is pay-as-you-go, and you can scale up or down month to month.
How quickly can I get set up?
Most accounts are provisioned the same business day after a short verification step. Proxy pools and SMS senders typically go live within 24 hours.
Do you provide an API?
Yes. Proxies, voice, SMS, and number provisioning are all available through a documented REST API with webhooks and sandbox credentials.
